Updated over 3 months ago

1. Navigate to the Contribution Settings

These settings are only available to users with the Admin role.

  1. Click the menu in the top-left corner of the Hives.co platform.

  2. Select Admin to open the Admin portal.

  3. Click Hive and then the Contribution tab.

2. Configure Moderation Settings

The Moderation section allows you to activate or deactivate an automatic language filter for all submitted content across your Hive.

Language Filter

The language filter uses Hives.co's AI to automatically detect and flag or remove inappropriate language from submitted ideas and comments.

  • To enable the Language filter: Toggle on the switch.

    • Result: Hives.co's AI will actively filter out inappropriate language in all user-submitted content.

  • To disable the Language filter: Toggle off the switch.

    • Result: Content will not be automatically filtered for inappropriate language.

3. Set Default Images for New Ideas

The Default images section allows you to upload a library of images that will be randomly assigned to new ideas created in your Hive. This helps ensure all new ideas have a visually appealing cover image, maintaining a professional look.

Uploading Default Images

  1. Prepare your images: Ensure the images are in jpg or png format and do not exceed 5MB each.

  2. Upload the images:

    • Click the large Drop your images here box, and select the files from your computer.

    • Alternatively, drag and drop the image files directly into the upload box.

  3. Wait for processing: Once uploaded, the images will be added to your organization's image bank for use as default idea images.

Image Usage

  • When a user creates a new idea and does not manually upload an image, one of these default images will be randomly selected and assigned as the idea's cover photo.

  • You can upload multiple images to create a diverse set of defaults.
