Working Inside a Folder

Once you open a specific folder, you enter the Folder Detail View. This page allows you to manage the specific contents of a folder, including Collections, Surveys, and Attachments, as well as control who has access to these items.

Navigating the Folder View

  • Breadcrumbs: At the very top left (e.g., Folders > Example Folder 1), you will see a breadcrumb trail. Click Folders to instantly return to the main directory.

  • Folder Title: The large text displays the current folder's name.

Adding Content to Your Folder

The blue + Add button in the top-right corner is your primary tool for populating the folder. Clicking this opens a dropdown menu with the following options:

  1. Subfolder: Create a nested folder to further organize your content.

  2. Collection:

    • + New: Start a fresh Collection from scratch.

    • Import: Upload an existing Collection from an external file.

  3. Survey: Create a new survey or import one directly into this folder.

  4. Attachment: Upload loose files (images, documents) relevant to the folder's topic.

Managing Access

In the top-right corner, next to the "Add" button, you will see the Access and Settings section.

  • Access (User Avatars): Displays the profile pictures of team members who currently have access to this folder.

  • Settings (Three Dots): Click the vertical ellipsis () button to modify the folder.

Content Sections

The main body of the folder page automatically organizes your items into four distinct sections. These sections appear on the page as you add content to them:

  1. Subfolders:

    • This section displays any nested folders you have created within the current folder. Use these to create deeper hierarchies for complex projects.

  2. Collections:

    • Here you will see cards for each Collection (e.g., feedback or idea boards). Each card displays the collection name and key metrics, such as the number of feedback items received.

  3. Surveys:

    • This section houses your Surveys. Similar to Collections, these are displayed as cards providing a quick overview of each survey instance stored in this folder.

  4. Attachments:

    • A dedicated space for loose files and documents. You can use the large dashed + Add box within this section to quickly upload new files directly from your computer.
