Managing Survey Details and Introduction

Once a survey is created, you may need to update its internal organizational details or refine the message respondents see when they first open it.

Editing Survey Name and Location

To change the internal name of your survey or move it to a different folder:

  1. Navigate to the Build tab of your survey.

  2. Click the More Options (three vertical dots) icon in the top right corner of the survey header.

  3. Select Edit from the dropdown menu.

  4. In the "Edit" modal:

    • Folder: Start typing to search for a new folder to house the survey.

    • Name: Update the internal name used for reports and admin views.

  5. Click Save to apply your changes.

Customizing the Introduction Page

The introduction is the first thing respondents see. To make it engaging:

  1. Locate the Introduction block on the Build tab.

  2. Click the Edit button in the top right corner of that block.

  3. In the Edit introduction screen:

    • Title: Update the "Welcome" heading (up to 100 characters).

    • Image: Click the image icon to upload a banner or relevant visual.

    • Description: Use the text field to provide context or instructions for the survey.

  4. Click Save to update the respondent view.

Deleting a Survey

If a survey is no longer needed:

  1. Click the More Options (three vertical dots) icon in the top right corner of the survey header.

  2. Select Delete from the dropdown menu.

  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted. Note: This action is permanent and will remove all associated data.


Permissions Reminder: Only users with Administrator or Manager access to the specific folder can rename, delete, or modify survey content.
