Step 1: Initiate the Creation Process
Navigate to your Hives dashboard. In the top navigation bar, click the blue + (Plus) button. From the dropdown menu that appears under the "Create" section, select Survey.
Step 2: Configure Basic Survey Details
An "Add survey" window will appear. Fill in the following details:
Enter a name: Provide an internal name for the survey. This name is used for organization in your Folders and Reports and will not be the primary title shown to contributors.
Folder: Select an existing folder to house your survey by typing to search. If you leave this blank, the survey will be placed in the Uncategorized section.
Create: Click the blue Create button to generate your survey shell.
Step 3: Set Up the Introduction
Once created, you will be redirected to the Build tab of your new survey.
Locate the Introduction block.
Click the Edit button in the top right corner of the block.
Here, you can add a Welcome Title, a descriptive introduction, and an Image to set the tone for your participants.
Step 4: Adding Questions
Scroll down to the Questions section.
Since the survey is new, you will see a message stating "No questions here yet."
Click the Add a question button (or the "+" icon if visible) to begin building your data collection points, such as multiple-choice, scale-based, or open-ended questions.
Note on Permissions: To create and edit surveys, you generally need Administrator or Manager permissions within the workspace or the specific folder.
