How to Add a New Workflow (Admin only)

After initiating the creation process, you must define the core identity of your workflow. This setup determines how the workflow will be identified in your dashboard and what type of data it will process within the Hives platform.

Configuring Basic Workflow Settings

  1. Name Your Workflow: In the Name field, enter a clear and descriptive title for your workflow. This name will be visible on the main Workflows dashboard, so choose something that allows other administrators to easily identify its purpose (e.g., "Internal Innovation Process" or "Customer Feedback Loop").

  2. Define the Data Type: Click the What are you collecting? dropdown menu to select the type of entity this workflow will manage.

You can select from the following options:

    • Ideas

    • Feedback

    • Posts

    • Insights

    • Solutions

    • Suggestions

Note: The category you select here defines the terminology used throughout the lifecycle of the workflow. For example, if you select Ideas, the system will tailor fields and buttons relevant to ideas.
