Getting Started with Workflows (Admin only)

Workflows are the engine behind consistent processes at hives.co. They allow Administrators to build step-by-step automations that streamline collections across the organization.

This guide provides an overview of the Workflows feature and how to begin creating your own templates.

Accessing the Workflows page

To view and manage your organization's workflows, you must have Admin permissions.

  1. Log in to your hives.co account.

  2. Navigate to the Admin panel.

  3. Select Workflows from the menu.

Creating a New Workflow

Once you are in the Workflows dashboard, you can create a new process from scratch.

  1. Locate the blue + New button in the top right corner of the screen.

  2. Click the button to open the workflow creator.

  3. Follow the prompts to define your new automation steps.

Managing Existing Workflows

Your dashboard displays a grid of all active workflows currently set up for your organization (e.g., Business Model Canvas, Collect Feedback, Design Sprint).

  • Workflow Cards: Each card represents a specific process and displays the workflow's name, icon, and the total number of steps involved.

  • Editing: To modify an existing process, simply click on the relevant workflow card to enter the editor.

Note: Once created, these workflows can be applied to different Collections within Hives, allowing teams to reuse standardized processes easily.
