This guide is for collection managers and admins who want to share their collections with others for feedback and input. Hives.co offers three ways to share collections:
Link & QR Code: Share your collection with a wider audience through a link or QR code.
Email Invite: Invite specific people by email to contribute to your collection.
Email Collection: Allow anyone to contribute to your collection via email.
Link & QR Code
This option allows you to share your collection with anyone who has the link or scan the QR code. Here's how:
Click the "Invite/Share" button at the top right of your collection.
In the sharing pop-up, enable sharing by clicking the toggle.
People using this link or QR-code will only have access to this specific collection, not your entire Hive.
Once you deactivate "Share to web," the collection will no longer be accessible through the link or QR-code. Regenerating the link and QR code occurs when you reactivate sharing.

Anonymous Contributions in Shared Collections
By default, people who access your shared collection can view it, but they'll need to sign in with an email address to contribute. However, you can enable anonymous contributions if you want to gather feedback without requiring users to log in or share personal information.
Here's how to enable anonymous contributions:
Click the "Invite/Share" button at the top right of your collection.
In the sharing pop-up, locate the option labeled "Accept anonymous contributions" at the bottom.
Click the toggle next to "Accept anonymous contributions" to activate it.
With this option enabled, anyone can contribute to your collection simply by viewing it and submitting their feedback. Emails sent from unknown addresses will be recorded as anonymous contributions. Contributions from existing Hives users will still be attributed to their accounts.
Email Invite
This option lets you invite specific people by email to contribute to your collection.
Click the "Invite/Share" button at the top right of your collection.
In the sharing pop-up, choose "Email invite."
Type the email addresses of the people you want to invite. Separate addresses with spaces, commas, or by pressing Enter.
Customize the subject line and message in the provided fields.
Click "Send" to invite the chosen email addresses.

Email Collection
This option allows anyone to contribute to your collection via email.
Click the "Invite/Share" button at the top right of your collection.
In the sharing pop-up, choose "Email collection."
Activate email collection by clicking the toggle on the right side.
A unique email address will be displayed. Any emails sent to this address will create a contribution in the collection.
Emails from existing Hives users will be attributed to that user.
Emails from unknown addresses will be anonymous.
